NAPCP Workshop May 19th 2018
Morning session: Implications of Recent Legislation for Therapeutic Practice
Facilitator: Liam Lally
Afternoon session: Worrying: A CBT Approach
If you work regularly with clients/patients who struggle with mild-moderate depression and/or anxiety – then this workshop will add tremendously to your skills and your confidence in working with this group. Worrying excessively is recognised as the fundamental feature of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), an anxiety disorder that causes great distress and contributes to other problems (including depression). In treating GAD, CBT is recommended by the NICE guidelines as the most effective psychological treatment.
