Welcome to our new website! The National Association for Pastoral Counselling & Psychotherapy (NAPCP) represents and sets professional standards for Pastoral Counsellors & Psychotherapists on the whole island of Ireland.
NAPCP was founded in 1994 as an organisation, which certifies counsellors & psychotherapists, accredits pastoral counselling centres, and approves training programs. It is professional and person centred and respects the spiritual commitments and religious traditions of those who seek assistance without imposing counsellor beliefs onto the client.
NAPCP offers vital continuing education opportunities; encourages networks of members for professional support and enrichment; facilitates growth and innovation in the profession and provides both specialized in-service training and supervision in pastoral counselling.
