NAPCP Workshop 28th March, 2020

NAPCP workshop to be held on Saturday March 28th, 2020.  Please see details below:

The Mental Fitness Workshop

Facilitator: Neil O’Brien

Most people already possess the talent and resources they will ever need to become more effective and more resourceful.  What they tend to lack is the clarity of knowing where and how to start, the discipline to follow-through and keep going, and, the mental toughness to recover quickly from setbacks and disappointments.

When people have clarity, discipline and brilliant basics they naturally develop a growth mindset. This mindset is essential for their ongoing maturity, succeeding despite change and uncertainty, and embracing a lifelong view of development, learning and education.

You will leave the workshop feeling like you have just had a series of coaching sessions with Neil.

Mentally fit employees own their performance, career and their future

Mentally fit employees are naturally more engaged, optimistic and resilient

Mentally fit employees deal with change and uncertainty with ease

This then creates a culture where mood, motivation and improved performance are natural outputs rather than something that has to be forced, contrived and complied with.

There are 3 components to a person’s mental fitness and each of these can be measured and improved.  The 3 components are Mood Management, Habit Management and thirdly, Resilience and Recovery.

In 1998, Neil founded Time To Fly and has since become Ireland’s most requested conference speaker and coach on the topics of mental fitness, mental health and wellbeing.  Neil has also coached elite and professional sports people on their mental fitness and was the first coach to be regularly featured on Irish television and contributed to such programmes as Open House, The Health Show, The Health Squad, The Mentor, The Clinic.  Neil is author of the book Time To Fly and is a director of the Irish charity To Children With Love.
